...And Then You Wanna School Me?

Either there is a late reaction going on because of the times or people are indescribably sick nowadays.

Problems in school have been around since forever ago. Teachers and parents concern themselves with school violence, especially after the Columbine Tragedy of the late 90's, Virginia Tech a few years back, and the list of unfortunate events go on (sadly). But what happens when one teacher attacks another teacher on front of students?

This unforseen event occured back in December at Poughkeepsie High School. While local newspapers were covering the stories from all angles, tweets and updates shot across the nation. Other teachers were in shock, students were traumatized, some of them even had to stop the attack. The victim (Glozier) wanted to let her students know that she was a strong person and she was recovering. The teacher who did the stabbing (Ricketts) faces 25 years if convicted of attempted murder.

In recent shocking news, a couple of teachers in LA's Miramonte Elementary ,were charged with the nastiest of human history. Lewd, sexual acts, endangering the welfare of children, the mental, emotional, and psychological damage done to these young innocent kids...with what result? The entire staff was removed and going through a more-than-necessary-thorough investigation. Trust has been broken in more ways than one.

Parents discuss with their kids about the value of an education and assume that school would provide them with security. And then you find nasty perverts that coerce the children into sexual acts, blindfolding acts, and "the tasting game," (I'm not even gonna explain that, just read the story and take an antacid right after). This is disgusting! Repulsing! Nauseating! If I had kids, it would make me want to home school them for life!

What would make someone want to do these things is completely beyond the human mind, and the trigger synapses are going on in the mind. I may not have an education degree, but I know that one should not be doing these things and acting in these ways.

Another Google Adventure

As I sit here listening to Jennifer Hudson's new album, I'm reflecting on the latest news stories that have been popping up for the last 24 hours via the internet and radio stations.
