Jessica Simpson Weight Gain Commentary

Okay, seriously people, seriously?
I can't tell you how many reports I 've seen on this woman because of her shape. She had a nice petite shape before and she has a nice shape now. Just because she has some meat on her bones, everybody is trippin like it's something serious. I'm in no way cracking on skinny girls in the country, but the media needs to stop putting negative connotation on weight gain. A little thickness never hurts nobody, right? I mean, when it starts to get out of control and affecting a person's health, then common sense would call in an intervention. I think this chick looks great. Her fans who admire her for her beauty and talent and see her new look will probably now realize, "Wow, Jessica Simpson put on a few pounds but she is still beautiful." Young girls are conditioned in society today that a negative zero body size is the way to go if you want to be successful. Being a media student myself, it's not that hard to figure out how to persuade the public. Ms. Simpson is not the first person to break the barrier on her her image. Marilyn Monroe's weight varied but she still drove the public wild. Raven Symone is rockin her natural curves and remains a gorgeous woman and a role model for young girls. Jennifer Hudson's cinematic debut as Effie in DreamGirls was just freaking awesome. I grew up watching Queen Latifah on both the small screen and big screen and everytime, she looks great. Whether she's rockin a little black dress, sweats or a business suit. What about Sabrina Byran's B'You workout video? She's definitely empowering young people everywhere to love and accept themselves as they are through the art of dance and fun. Just like there is nothing wrong with being skinny, there is nothing wrong with being curvy :0).
