The Prowess of the Airwaves
Media mogul Jeannie Jones has taken her creative ingenuity and is making the best of her career as both a radio/television personality and media executive. Originally from Washington, DC, she landed her first radio/television gig in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach area after completing her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. She’s never too busy to send a shout out to either one of her favorite celebrities or the everyday working person. She loves her work and being able to give back to her community. As a high school teen, she was into track and field, cheerleading, roller skating, bowling, writing, and music. “As a kid growing up, I learned to play the piano and saxophone,” said Ms. Jones. “I wanted to be the sexiest saxophone player," she admits with a chuckle.
